Youth Programs

Drum Fusion empowers youth and engages them to express themselves through music and rhythm.  Kids and drums are a natural fit and Drum Fusion provides a drum or other percussion instrument for each child to play.  Drum Fusion then facilitates an extraordinary, experiential, kinesthetic process that encourages creativity through community and cooperation. 

The Drum Fusion Youth Rhythm curriculum utilizes proven effective rhythm activities to help children of all ages experience a sense of pride and achievement through their music-making success as they build self confidence and self worth.  This remarkable program inspires youth to reach for their dreams as they learn the skills to make them happen.  

Children are making music and having fun while simultaneously learning academics, communication skills, respect and teamwork.  Through this process children are also relieving stress and engaging in healthy, physical activity.  

Cultural components relating to the origins of the drums are woven into the program helping participants to appreciate diversity as they explore and celebrate communities around the globe.  

Each program is customized to meet the needs and theme of each group.  Total program time is approximately 30- 45 minutes depending on the age range of the participants.  Longer programs are also available.  

Educational Faculty and Staff programs are also available.  Programs are similar to the Motivational & Personal Growth programs with a special emphasis on schools & educational facilities.  Please contact Drum Fusion for details on customizing an event.
